How to Find the Locker Combination in Silent Hill’s The Short Message

How to Find the Locker Combination in Silent Hill’s The Short Message

As Anita tangles herself in a seemingly unending loop of nightmares, she receives one cryptic message from her friend Maya. “Find it.” What is it? The answer might lie in Anita’s locker, in the claustrophobic high school halls. But Anita’s locker is, predictably, locked… and she doesn’t remember the combination. That’s how you know this is really a horror game.

Fortunately, the answer isn’t too far away. If you want the quick and dirty answer, put in the code: 0312.

To find the code to Anita’s locker, you need only look around the hall. I’ll admit I spent way too long attempting to discern the “numbers” in the graffitied text around Maya’s desk. But the real numbers are plastered along the length of the hall.

The first two numbers, “0” and “3”, can be seen at the end of the hall.

The zero is above the door and the 3 is on the ceiling.

The “1” can be found on the side of the lockers and is the easiest one to miss.

And finally, the “2” is just to the left of the second door.

Once you have all four numbers, approach the lockers opposite Maya’s. It has star stickers on it. Input the code, and you’ll find that there’s a book… and a letter. Which will reveal a twist. I’m not sure anyone except the best psycho-analyzing detectives and Silent Hill aficionados were expecting.

Now, get ready to run. Guilt is never far behind in a Silent Hill game. And if you’re having trouble escaping, here’s how to escape her.
