How To Find the Hidden Treasure in Kalina in Moonlighter 2
Carved in stone, huh?
NPCs in Moonlighter 2 will give you different tasks to complete during your runs, which can lead to new weapons, decorations, furniture, and items to craft at the hub. Early on, Eris will ask you to find a hidden treasure in Kalina with a cryptic hint to help you.
Since there are no markers for quests, if you’re struggling to find this treasure in Kalina, I have you covered.
Find the Hidden Treasure in Kalina in Moonlighter 2
The cryptic message for the treasure has a hint in its quest description. It mentions that you can find the treasure where a “hammer can be heard”.

This is referring not to a sound itself, but rather the Blacksmith whom you can encounter during your runs.
- When you’re given the choice of nodes during a run, aim for the one with the Hammer icon.

- Once there, make sure to interact with the Blacksmith to grab the perk first because we’ll be moving from this node next.

- The layout of this node may be different, but you need to find a path with a wooden platform leading elsewhere, like this:

- This will lead you to a green portal, which you need to enter.

- Once inside, you’ll be teleported to a new area with multiple platforming sections, each with two types of traps that increase in complexity as you progress.
- For the spike trap, simply roll over it. Since you have infinite rolls in this game, just mash the roll button and you’ll go over any number of these traps.

- The other trap will blow air towards you and knock you off the platform, and you’ll take damage in the process. Time your movement and wait for the trap to turn off when you approach it. It’s a bit tricky, and I recommend keeping an eye on your health and using the health potion if necessary.

At the end of this section, you’ll receive a scroll that unlocks The Vow, a new weapon which you can craft at the Blacksmith back in the hub area.

And that’s how you finish this quest. You don’t have to go back to Eris to give your report and can continue playing!
Tasks in Moonlighter 2 are fun to complete because the game doesn’t make them too obvious or too simple, but they also aren’t unclear or frustrating.
