How to Find Gaspar Stilbian in Diablo 4

If you’re on the hunt for every Extremely Rare Monster to complete that Trophy Hunter Challenge, Gaspar Stilbian is on your list. Unfortunately, for many, he can be quite difficult to find. Not because of his location, but because of his spawn times.

Gaspar Stilbian is in Scosglen on the right side of the map, to the right of the Under the Fat Goose Inn Waypoint.

However, there’s a chance that he won’t be there. I believe that Gaspar is set to spawn every other day. That means that on certain days, he won’t spawn at all.

I say this because I spent several hours waiting for him to spawn, moving in and out of the map, traveling back to his spawn from Waypoints, and nothing could trigger it. However, when I returned the next day, Gaspar was standing right in his spawn zone. After killing him, he then proceeded to respawn every fifteen to twenty minutes.

He drops the Outcast’s Handwraps:

  • 327 Armor
  • +2 Ranks of Incinerate (Sorcerer Only)
  • 5.0% Fire Damage Over Time
  • Lucky Hit: Up to a +14.0% Chance to Slow

Is Gaspar Stilbian Bugged? – Answered

Beyond his strange spawn time, Gaspar is unique for another reason. He refuses to fight you. If you do kill him, you’ll get his gauntlets, which informs you that he was once part of the Floating Sky Monastery. It turns out that Gaspar used to be a Monk of Ivgorod, a group of practitioners who first appeared in Diablo 3.

Despite being an outcast, he seems to adhere to an oath of non-violence and will even follow you around the small area he spawns in. That makes killing him even sadder.

But now that you have his gloves, you might well slap a good Aspect on it. Here are all the Aspects in Diablo 4, listed: All Aspects in Diablo 4 Listed.
