The Forgotten Deep Lost Sector can be found in The Landing area within the Pale Heart, The Traveler zone. Destiny 2 players will need to own The Final Shape expansion to access this and other new areas in the region.

The Lost Sector is in the southeastern section of The Landing area hidden away in a giant cave. The cave is very spacious and will be in the back from the initial entrance.

The Lost Sector symbol will be etched onto a pillar in the dark corner of the cave and will be in front of a smaller alcove. Walk around the pillar into the alcove to see a hole in the cave’s wall and a rock path leading up to it. This is the entrance to the Lost Sector.

The Forgotten Deep Lost Sector has a different gimmick than the other Lost Sectors in the game, as players will need to collect glowing green gusts of wind at certain points to progress. Some of the areas will have players collect three gusts around the environment, which will fill up the Light Shield Breaker and break any shields of crystals or enemies that need to be destroyed.

The final boss in the Forgotten Deep Lost Sector is the same way and players will have to pause damaging it to fill up their Light Shield Breaker meter to get past its reoccurring shield. There are also plenty of enemies in the area that will make the fight difficult, so having teammates with you will make the mini-dungeon a smoother experience.
