Special Bot 3 in Astro’s Playroom

The Special Bot 3 in Astro’s Playroom is a Gran Turismo-themed bot that can be found in Cooling Springs Bot Beach.

Follow these steps to rescue the Special Bot 3.

  • First, travel to Cooling Springs – Bot Beach level
  • Here, you’ll have to find four sea stars in the following order and step on them
  • The first one is under the Pier
  • The second is to the left on the beach
  • The third is next to a palm tree on the right
  • The fourth and final one is near the left of the cooling pipe
  • Step on it to reveal the Special Bot #3
  • Now, head over to the right of the cooling pipe
  • Keep going forward until you see a Steering Wheel below the structure
  • Hit the steering wheel, and open the Map with Options
  • If you did it right, you’ll now hear an engine revving, and it’ll sound like you’re on a racetrack
  • Follow the pattern shown in the GIF below to finally unlock Special Bot 3

After you’re done, the Gran Turismo-themed Special Bot 3 will be unlocked in Astro’s Playroom, as well as the Grand Tourist trophy.

This special bot will be carried over to Astro Bot if you choose to purchase it. Astro Bot is coming exclusively to the PS5 on September 6, 2024.
