As you load into your fiftieth raid, kitted out with the best of the best gear, you’re ready to hunt down one of the many bosses in Escape From Tarkov. But there’s one hunting you, and this is how you can find and beat Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov.

Where to Find Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov

There’s only one raid where you can find Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov, and that’s Lighthouse. He’s a well-known Cultist with a reputation as a top-notch sharpshooter, with eyes that supposedly glow white. It’s said that his eyesight is so vastly improved that he can essentially see in the dark. It sounds like a way for the developers to write off an aim-botting NPC, but hey, that’s just my opinion.

The good thing about Zryachiy, especially if you’re hunting him, is that he has a 100% guaranteed spawn on Lighthouse each raid. It’s just a matter of tracking the hunter down. He’s covered in a ghillie suit, camouflaged with the forest around him, and carries an SVDS with a suppressor that can pick you off from afar.

But your best bet to track down this sniper is to visit the Lighthouse itself. He’s usually found down on the southeast island, guarding the lighthouse from passersby.

Tips to Beat Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov

First and foremost, if you want to run Lighthouse without risking your back to Zryachiy’s sniper scope, you’ll want to carry a Digital Secure DSP Radio Transmitter. It must be encoded! If you have one, they won’t shoot unless provoked.

Furthermore, Zryachiy always has two followers with him. They will respawn three times in total, meaning you have to deal with eight bodyguards in all. It’s a tough fight when he’s specifically aiming to take you down from a distance.

Lastly, the best way to take down Zryachiy is with a team. He can only scope in on one of you at any given time, so use this to flank him and gain the advance with the other players in the party. You want to kill Zryachiy first, then his bodyguards; otherwise, as mentioned, they will respawn.
