How to Farm Tentacool Stinger in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk

At least they aren't Cruel yet.

Tentacool packs quite a punch, and they’re a force to be reckoned with if you find yourself in the water. If you need to get your hands on plenty of Tentacool Stingers while exploring Blueberry Academy, we’ll show you how in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk.

Where To Find Tentacool in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To find this Generation I Pokemon, you’ll want to head toward the waters of the Coastal Biome. As you can see from their Habitat Chart, they’re a relatively easy Pokemon to track down, so jump on your Legendary of choice and head out for a Swim. You’re likely to encounter plenty of these jellyfish Pokemon in the water. Send out a Pokemon of your choice using Auto Battle by pressing the R button on your controller, and let them go to work.

It doesn’t matter what type your Pokemon is, as they’ll be suspended above the water on a small raft if they aren’t typically a Water-type monster. Stay in this location for as long as you need, as the longer a Pokemon has to Auto Battle, the more Pokemon materials you’ll be able to claim. Since there are numerous Tentacools in this area, you should be able to hit your quota rather quickly, so get ready to start making TMs and becoming the strongest Pokemon master around. They’re pretty weak, so anything over level 70 should plow through them with ease.

With the reintroduction of many Pokemon at Blueberry Academy, it can be overwhelming to try and track them down yourself. Be sure to check out our Pokemon Scarlet and Violet section below to find out where you may be able to track them down and see what kind of surprises await you in this DLC pack.
