How to Farm Acid in Once Human – Best Locations and Methods

Acid is an important resource in Once Human, which is necessary to make the best ammunition for your high-end guns. There are a few methods on how to get the resource, so here is how to farm Acid and the best locations for it in Once Human.

How to Get Acid in Once Human

There are three methods to get Acid in Once Human. The first is to simply kill Deviant enemies, as it can be an uncommon drop from non-human enemies. This method is perfect for beginning players to amass the resource without having many skills unlocked yet.

There is no strictly efficient method to killing a lot of enemies, but there are a few locations that feature Deviants densely packed in a relatively small area. It is best to stick with a melee weapon or crossbow when clearing out areas to conserve ammo, while also using a motorcycle to quickly get around. Here are some of the best locations to kill enemies for Acid:

• Brookham (Level 8)
• High Banks (Level 13)
• Holt Town (Level 30)
• Blackfell Oil Fields (Level 45)
• Securement Silo – Theta (Level 45)

Another method is to unlock the Sulfur Chemist memetic specialization, which will allow players to craft Acid at the Synthetic Bench with five Sulfur and 50 Energy Links. It may take some luck to eventually unlock the specialization and this method can also be a real drain on Energy Links.

How to Farm Acid in Once Human

The last method to get Acid is to produce it on your own with key base placement and a couple of facilities. This method is intended for endgame players who have most of the memetic tress unlocked already.

The first step is to place your base in a polluted area which are not marked on the map. Players can tell they are in a polluted area by the constant beeping and red numbers of their cradle backpack. Polluted areas can also be found around Monoliths.

Build Water Pumps at your base to extract Polluted Water from the ground. Then take the water to a built Reverse Osmosis Purifier to create Impure Acid. Take that solution to a Brewing Barrel and combine the Impure Acid and Purified Water to create Acid.
