The Carnival of Doom mission Once Human is unlike the other missions as it involves a deranged clown playing Russian roulette with a weapon that turns people into toys. The mission may leave some stuck, so here is how to solve the Carnival of Doom puzzle in Once Human.

How to Complete Carnival of Doom in Once Human

The Carnival of Doom mission will warp players into a completely separate room adorned with children’s toys and bright colors. Talking to Chuckles will not complete the puzzle at the start, and will require a few more steps before the mission can be finished.

Instead of talking to Chuckles, press the Q key to flash your Spacetime vision and reveal a highlighted cable leading to the edge of the room. Go to the waypoint to overhear someone talking with another person behind the wall.

Come back to the center and talk to Chuckles. Choose the option, “I need some fresh air,” for him to open the giant door behind you. This will take you through a spacious hallway followed by a dead end.

The dead end will have Chuckles’ co-conspirator at a small console. Beat him to death with your melee weapon, since guns are not allowed in this mission.

Walk over and interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to change its values. Now you can return to Chuckles and know that the game is not rigged anymore.

Talk to Chuckles and accept the challenge. Your character will shoot Chuckles with the gun, and you will be able to secure a Voodoo Doll Deviation for completing the mission. It will then warp you back to the main world.

The Voodoo Doll Deviation can be used in combat by sharing damage with the player or possessing enemies to then take any damage the player receives instead. It can be a handy tool if ambushed by enemies while looking for rare Silver Ore.
