With all the events in March that Trainers are clamoring to finish when it comes to Pokemon GO, some of the game’s simpler pleasures can be lost in the rush. Maybe you’re a bit tired of banging your head against the Darkrai raid? Well, we won’t blame you.
It might be nice to kick back, set up a lure, and complete some of your Pokedex. If you’re already in the possession of some sentient magnets but you know that they haven’t quite reached their final form, here’s our guide on how to evolve Magneton in Pokemon GO.
How to Evolve Magneton in Pokemon GO
So, you’re a Trainer who’s after a Magnezone in Pokemon GO. Well, that’s really the only thing that Magneton evolves into, so we’re just going to go ahead and reckon that it’s a pretty safe assumption to make.
While there’s a variety of ways to evolve Pokemon in Pokemon GO, including a bunch of evolutionary stones like the Sinnoh Stone, Magnezone isn’t a critter that benefits from having an item slapped onto it. If you want to evolve Magneton in Pokemon GO, you’re going to need to use a Magnetic Lure Model.
Magnetic Lure Models retail for 200 coins per pop, and as always, these premium funds aren’t all that easy to come by in Pokemon GO. You can choose to hold down a gym for days at a time, or you can speed up that process and splash out some actual cash.
Once you have the Magnetic Lure, you just have to attach it to a PokeStop and shell out the necessary Pokemon Candy needed to evolve your Magneton into a Magnezone.
At this time, the going rate for evolution is 100 Magnemite candy, so we would make sure that you have a stash of that before you take on this Lure endeavor. You’ll be able to trigger the Magneton evolution process so long as you meet the criteria of having enough candy and having an active Magnetic Lure that you’re camped out next to.
So now that you’ve got our guide on how to evolve Magneton on Pokemon GO, you too should be able to pick up a Magnezone of your very own. I mean, who hasn’t always wanted to cart around a gigantic deadly collection of fridge magnets to beat other kids with? Certainly… not us?
