Here’s everything you need to know about Rainbow Six Siege X and how to join its closed beta from March 13 to March 19, 2024.

How to Join Rainbow Six Siege X’s Closed Beta

Rainbow Six Siege kicks off year 10 with a massive update called “Siege X.” Siege X officially releases on June 10, 2025, but players can play the new Dual Front game mode in the ongoing closed beta.

Players must link their Twitch and Ubisoft accounts through their Twitch page and watch at least 30 minutes worth of partnered Rainbow Six Siege content creators on Twitch.

How to Get the Closed Beta Access Twitch Drop in Rainbow Six Siege X

To link your Twitch and Ubisoft accounts, go to Twitch and open the Drops & Rewards tab through your account profile. Look for the Rainbow Six Siege X drop and check your progress. If your accounts are already connected, the progress is already starting. If not, you’ll see the “Connect” button under the Rainbow Six Siege Closed Beta Access icon.

Tap connect and log in to your Ubisoft account to connect both accounts. Once you’ve done this, you can watch a partnered Rainbow Six Siege content creator on Twitch to get the drop. Most content creators would have “!drops” on their stream title, so look for those streams.

After watching for 30 minutes, return to Drops & Rewards and select “Claim” to get the access code. You’ll receive an email with the key asking which platform you want access to the Rainbow Six Siege X closed beta. Follow the email instructions and download the closed beta version to play the new Dual Front mode and other massive changes.

Note: Rainbow Six Siege X is having technical issues and players aren’t receiving emails even after claiming the drop. The team is working on the issue and you can check out their support page for updates regarding the drops here.

Rainbow Six Siege X’s Closed Beta Length

Rainbow Six Siege X’s closed beta starts on March 13, 2025 and lasts until March 19, 2025. It isn’t clear if they are going to extend the closed beta since they are experiencing technical issues in giving out the closed beta codes.

However, Rainbow Six Siege X is set to launch on June 10, 2025. The game will be free for all players on launch, which is one of the biggest changes coming to the game. Players who own Rainbow Six Siege will get a special veteran reward for each year they have played the game.
