Players with an acumen for the magical art will find themselves more prepared in battle, as the game’s concoctions can sometimes be the difference between life and death on Hogwarts Legacy’s higher difficulty settings. Going Through the Potions Achievement Explained

According to the description, Going Through the Potions requires players to “Brew every type of potion” in Hogwarts Legacy. These potions (alphabetically listed) are: Edurus, Focus, Invisibility, Maxima, Thunderbrew, and Wiggenweld (Felix Felicis is not included in the challenge). The achievement is earnable on Steam and is also a silver PlayStation trophy, as well as an Xbox achievement worth 30 Gamerscore.

How to Obtain All Potion Formulae in Hogwarts Legacy

In order to brew every potion in the game, you must obtain all of the potions’ respective recipes. Through early story progression, you will receive the Edurus and Wiggenweld formulas, but there are four more that must be purchased, which are as follows:

In order to craft Focus, you will need Lacewing Flies, Fluxweed Stems, and a Dugbog Tongue. The brewing process takes one minute.

How to Brew Invisibility in Hogwarts Legacy

In order to craft Invisibility, you will need Leaping Toadstool Caps, a Knotgrass Sprig, and Troll Bogeys. The brewing process takes one minute.

Once you have brewed each of the six recipes, you will receive the PlayStation trophy / Steam or Xbox achievement depending on your platform of preference.

Bonus: How to Brew Felix Felicis in Hogwarts Legacy
