Download the Rise of the Ronin Demo

To download the Rise of the Ronin Demo, follow the steps below.

  • From the PS5’s dashboard, head over to the PlayStation Store
  • Search for Rise of the Ronin, and open the store page for it
  • Here, click on the three dots next to next to Wishlist, and select Rise of the Ronin Demo from the options
  • This will take you to the page for the demo
  • Select the Download Trial button and initiate the download

If you’re on another device and want to initiate the download from the browser, you can head on over to the following link on the PlayStation Store and add the demo to your library. After it’s been added to your library, you can initiate the download from a browser as long as your PlayStation 5 device is turned on.

Rise of the Ronin Demo Size and Length

The Rise of the Ronin demo is essentially the full game, so the size is around 103 GB. It has around 5 hours of content, which also includes the character creator and the first major chapter, at the end of which you’ll have to make a narrative decision as well. All the progress you make will be carried over if you choose to purchase the full release.

Along with the demo announcement, Team Ninja also revealed various choices that players made throughout their journey. While it would’ve been great for the demo to be available at launch or before it, this is a sizeable demo that’s enough to convince players if they should buy it or not.
