Is There a Rumble Support in Fire Emblem Engage

How to Do Training Battles in Fire Emblem Engage

Why not give a unit a little extra love by making them fight their friends?

Fire Emblem is a game that puts much emphasis on training up your units. And as you promote them, leveling them can be quite the grind. Fortunately, there’s one way to help accelerate the process if you have one unit you want to focus on. And that’s through individual training battles. Here’s how to do training battles in Fire Emblem Engage.

You might have noticed that the Somniel is a bastion of tranquility that offers quite a few things to do to help boost your units’ stats. This ranges from increasing their affection with their Emblem Rings through ring polishing to cooking and eating meals together.

But if you’re focused on increasing their levels, not only to gain stats but to help edge closer to a coveted promotion, one thing you’re going to want to do is take advantage of the Arena.

The Arena is accessible in two ways. You can access it through Café Terrace from the Plaza. It’s the grand door on the far back right wall, opposite to the entrance of the ring chamber. The other option is to simply fast-travel to it.

By pressing X while in the Somniel, you’ll be taken to an overview of the island with a list of all available locations. The Arena will be located right below Ring Chamber.

Head there, and you’ll find yourself in a strange and lovely chamber that seems to be its own pocket dimension. There’s really no reason for it to be so magnificent, but I can’t complain. Approach the glowing blue flame on the ground, and you’ll be given an option:

Training or Emblem.

Opt for training, and you’ll be able to select the character you’d like to gain experience and SP (assuming they have an Emblem Ring equipped) with. They’ll then be pitted against one random character. It doesn’t matter if they lose or win; they’ll gain exp and SP no matter what.

This can be done three times between each world map battle, so you might as well take advantage of it.
