How to do the Lunchbox Glitch in Fallout Shelter

As many lunchboxes as you need

The Lunchbox Glitch in Fallout Shelter is one of the most valuable exploits for players, without having any significant repercussions. This is primarily due to the simple fact that the mobile-based title is an entirely single-player experience. Here’s how to do the Lunchbox Glitch in Fallout Shelter.

What are Lunchboxes in Fallout Shelter?

In case you’re unaware, Fallout Shelter does have a gacha aspect surrounding it. This mainly works in the form of the Lunchboxes. They’re of different types and offer various items as well. However, the items you get from them entirely depend on your luck; hence, there’s always a risk involved if you involve yourself in microtransactions to get more.

However, the glitch allows you to get as much as possible without spending real-life money. Additionally, the higher amount of in-game resources is also beneficial for fast-tracking the development of your post-apocalyptic colony.

How to Use the Lunchbox Glitch in Fallout Shelter

There are different ways to utilize this glitch, but Bethesda has patched some older methods over the years. However, there’s a tested method that still keeps working (according to many players).

  • You’ll need a new account to utilize this glitch.
  • Once you have created a new account, make a new vault.
  • Once the new vault is created, get started with completing the objectives.
  • A couple of starter objectives will appear soon – Sell 1 Weapon or Outfit, and Equip 1 Dweller with an outfit.
  • Don’t complete either of these quests; even if you are forced to do so, ensure not to obtain the rewards.
  • Instead, complete the available third quest and obtain the rewards (it will give you a lunchbox/caps).
  • This third quest slot will keep recycling one of the beginner quests, and many will always offer a lunchbox on completion.

This method is safe. There’s no risk of a ban. Moreover, this method is old, but it has been working for years. This is an excellent way to get a quick head start and allows speedier development of your Fallout Shelter base.
