The 2x Objective Completion perk is one of the best advantages to enjoy in Fallout Shelter. Not only does it increase the amount of rewards players get by completing a certain task, but it also ensures that the harder objectives don’t have to be done repeatedly. The additional rewards are always beneficial as there’s always something new to build and/or develop.

What is 2x Objective Completion in Fallout Shelter?

There are certain bonuses players can assign with a particular task to add to the benefits they obtain. The 2x Objective Completion bonus will double any reward that’s obtainable after completing a certain task. All a player needs to do is to ensure that the dweller taking part in this task has the bonus activated for them. Once that dweller completes a task, all rewards received will be doubled in number. This is applicable to both resources and items.

How to Use the 2x Objective Completion in Fallout Shelter

As mentioned earlier, the dweller completing an objective will have to have the bonus enabled. Interestingly, the bonus is applicable to one of the pets. In fact, the Vault-Tec Parrot, when assigned with a dweller, will double the rewards for completing the task in Fallout Shelter.

That’s all you have to do – just equip the parrot to a dweller and let them work. Even the caps earned by that dweller will be doubled, and it can make a massive difference in the long run. A legendary variant of the Vault-Tec Parrot is also available, which can offer a 3x Objective Completion bonus on a dweller.

While the Vault-Tec Parrot can be assigned to any dweller, the assignment can only happen when you’re in a vault. Make sure to assign the pet at all times to a dweller, who should be assigned to complete the harder (but more rewarding) tasks. Both the 2x Objective Completion and 3x Objective Completion work in the same fashion and with the same pet.
