The Shambling Mound is a randomly spawning enemy that ambushes your party when you are exploring the Shadow Cursed Lands, especially the Ruined Battlefields location during Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3. The Shadow Cursed Shambling Mound is a formidable foe at the early stages of the game. It always spawns some levels higher than the player and with a couple of enemy types, Needle Blights and Vine Blights.
