Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 offers even more customization than previous Call of Duty titles down to changing how the in-game HUD, or interface, can provide players with information to suit their preferences. Here is how to customize the HUD in Black Ops 6.
How to Change the HUD in Black Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players can change the appearance of their in-game HUD by going to the Interface menu within the Settings. It will be under the Gameplay HUD submenu after selecting it.
Players can first press the Menu/Options button or click on their profile in the upper-right-hand corner of the main menu to bring up the right sidebar. Then go to the Settings tab marked by a gear icon and choose Interface. There will be another three tabs labeled Global, Readability, and Gameplay HUD.
The Gameplay HUD menu allows players to change the orientation of the mini map, compass, and radar. There are also crosshair settings to enable/disable hit marker visuals.
The HUD Presets option lets players change how their HUD looks in the game by rearranging some of the icons in different spots. There are Standard, Inverted, Classic, Mission Interface, Scout, Target Tracker, Central Command, Magnified, Immersive, and Streamer choices so far.
Players can also change the color of the icons in their mini map under the Colors tab. Choices include teammates, enemies, objectives, squad members, and even individual members of your party.
All of these settings in the HUD can be changed at any time, whether at the main menu or within a match. However, players should reasonably change these settings outside of a match or risk getting killed over and over while hanging out in spawn.
