How to Craft An Enchanted Aspect’s Shadowflame Crest in WoW Dragonflight

The bestest of the best crafted gear.

You might find yourself struggling to gear up fully in WoW Dragonflight for a couple reasons. This late in the season most top-tier players have long since moved on from the “average” difficulty Keystone dungeons. Raids are a huge time commitment; finding guilds to do them with is even more of one. So what’s a lonely casual to do? Well, crafted gear is a great place to start.

How to Get Aspect’s Shadowflame Crests in WoW Dragonflight

In order to craft gear of the highest caliber, we’re going to need Aspect’s Shadowflame Crests, which can be found in +16 Keystone Dungeons, the new Dawn of the Infinite Megadungeon, and Mythic Abberus, the Shadowed Crucible. Now, I know the intro to this article said Keys were hard and raiding was harder, and that’s why I’d recommend focusing on learning Dawn of the Infinite and running it weekly for a guarantee of three Aspect’s Shadowflame Crests per week.

If you’re an enchanter, you might be able to do this yourself! If you aren’t, get ready to head to the Crafter’s Consortium in Valdrakken to put in a work order. You’ll need four Aspect’s Shadowflame Crests to create an Enchanted version, which allows the crafting of item level 447 gear.

Aspect’s Shadowflame Crests usually only upgrade gear to 441, so using four of them to craft a piece you might have trouble finding an upgrade for is a great investment. Just be prepared to shell out some gold for the crafting materials listed below if you can’t get them yourself:

  • 80 Chromatic Dust.
  • 15 Vibrant Shard.
  • 4 Resonant Crystal.
  • 2 Dracothyst.

Once you have the materials in hand, lay down a nice commission for a friendly crafter to make the material for you. Then, take that Crest and throw it into a crafting order for a piece you’d like crafted at level 447 along with a Spark of Shadowflame (check our guide on how to get these here) and enjoy your upgrade!
