How to Complete the Power Puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake

You'll need a little brain power for this one.

Resident Evil 4 Remake does have a lot of obscure puzzles, but a few of them can be simple to get once you understand the mechanics. Take the rather daunting cave shrine puzzles for example, which seem quite difficult until you see the symbols on the cave walls. In the case of the labs later in the game, you will find some power-related puzzles that can be difficult to understand until you realize what they are asking from you. Here is how to complete the power puzzles in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

As said, the power puzzles first begin to appear in the labs late in the game. When exploring, you will come across small green screens that read “Insufficient Power. Calibration Required”. There will also be a ton of Tetris blocks on the screen, with lines leading both to them and small electricity symbols. While it is a confusing thing to understand at first, completing these puzzles is more a matter of trial and error than anything.

Your end goal is to ensure that all of the electricity symbols are powered. In the case of the image above, each of the Tetris blocks needs to be rotated so that all five electricity symbols are powered. The catch is that changing a Tetris block’s direction will switch all blocks on the same ring. Again, with the example above, switching the uppermost Tetris block will switch the blocks on the furthest left, furthest right, and lowest sides as well.

Once you have power leading to all of the different electricity symbols, you can press the Confirm key while hovering over the electricity symbols to complete the puzzle. It is as simple as that! After some experimenting, you should be able to complete all of them without too much trouble. Good luck progressing through and dealing with the horrors within. Once you run into a section where you need a wrench, here is our guide on how to get it.
