Season 2 of Chapter 5 is almost here, and to get ready for the Odyssey ahead, players have been tasked with collecting Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite. To help you get started, this guide will outline where you can get these tiles in each match you play.
How to Get Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite
You can collect Mosaic Tiles by damaging enemy players, breaking structures with weak points, or searching any container around the map. Any of those three activities will give you a chance to earn some of the tiles, so it’s a mostly passive process as you simply play the Battle Royale per usual. When I got my first tiles, I earned three directly by hitting an enemy with a Frenzy Auto Shotgun. I didn’t have to pick up any in this case, and I earned progress for the quest right away.
Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite are odd, though, and they won’t always just get added to your Odyssey quest progress. Sometimes, you need to manually pick them up, and they won’t have a clear label, which makes running by them fairly common. Every tile that appears on the ground will look like a broken turquoise jewel. Searching containers usually gets them to appear on the ground, so keep an eye out whenever you open a chest or an ammo box.
Where to Find Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite:
- Damage enemy players with any weapons.
- Search chests, containers, and ammo boxes.
- Break structures by hitting weak points.
In total, you need to collect nearly 300 Mosaic Tiles to finish the Odyssey Bonus Goals in Fortnite. The first step of the quest only requires 25 for completion, but there are five different steps, and the total gets slightly higher with each one. If you play enough of Season 1 before early March, you should have enough time to gather them all.
Don’t forget to earn your Solid Snake skin before the next Fortnite season as well.
