Dead Island 2 Twitch Drops

How to Claim Twitch Drops for Dead Island 2

Witness bloodshed before committing bloodshed yourself

Dead Island 2 release has been very well-received in its first hours of release. And while it may not necessarily need it, Twitch has also provided some help in marketing it with the inclusion of exclusive Twitch Drops for the game, obtained by watching streamers playing this messy gorefest of a zombie-killing game. And getting them is quite easy, so here’s what you need to do.

How to Get Dead Island 2 Twitch Drops

Just like various other promotional campaigns, you can earn some rewards for Deep Silver’s hit sequel while watching your favorite streamer playing it on Twitch. The only prize introduced so far is the Fenrir’s Howl weapon, which you can get by doing the following:

  • Log in to your Twitch account and head for the Drops and Rewards page to search for Dead Island 2 in “All Campaigns”.
  • Hit the “Connect” button to link your PROS account to your Twitch account, or do it through this link. You’ll need to make a new account if you don’t own one yet.
  • Watch any participating streamer playing Dead Island 2 for 20 minutes to get your drops. Don’t forget to claim them in your Drops inventory.

You can check your current progress anytime by looking at your inventory. After you claim it, the reward should be available in-game as long as you have correctly linked both accounts. You can only get the same drop once per account, and watching multiple streams won’t boost your progress, so don’t bother trying.

Dead Island 2 is out now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Epic Games Store and Xbox Live. The original game was released back in 2011, and although a sequel was highly anticipated, Deep Silver definitely took its time to bring it into reality.
