Where to Find Squid in Disney Dreamlight Valley – Squid Locations

You can catch squid in the Glade of Trust and the Forgotten Lands. Focus on casting your line toward blue fishing circles, as white ones give fish like tuna, while orange circles give lobster and anglerfish, depending on the region.

Blue fishing spots in the Glade of Trust and the Forgotten Lands will almost always give you squid in return. You may occasionally catch a Lancetfish in the Forgotten Lands, but this isn’t the case in the Glade of Trust. The main challenge is finding a blue circle, as white fishing spots are far more common. Keep your eyes peeled, and don’t be afraid to fish some regular circles to get a blue one to spawn!

All Squid Cooking Recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley

While squid isn’t used as a specific ingredient in any cooked dishes, you can use it in any recipe with “Any Seafood” as one of the required items. For example, a large seafood platter requires four seafood and one lemon, allowing you to use squid to boost its value. Make sure you don’t use it as a substitute for fish, as the game places it in the same category as oysters, scallops, and clams!
