The Enforcer in AC6

How to Beat AA P03 Enforcer in Armored Core 6 (AC6)

Prepare yourself for a test of your Skills.

While exploring the underground depths in Chapter 4 of Armored Core 6, you’ll find yourself squaring off against the world’s most terrifying Optimus Prime rip-off, and they’re certainly someone who is more than meets the eye. While they’re already popping shots off at you while you descend further into the depths, you’ll find that the challenge waiting for you at the end of this tunnel is one of the most frustrating yet. Sure, BALTEUS may be more of a challenge overall, but the Enforcer is still enough to have you ready to rip out your hair. Let’s find a way to make that better.

The Enforcer may be large, but he’s also fast and dangerous. You’ll need to be prepared to jump, duck, and roll against their attacks since they’re bringing everything to this battle but the kitchen sink. From blades to energy bubbles, you’ll need something that can bring them down fast. We recommend rolling up to this party with the following build:

  • Right & Left Arm: Vvc-760PR – Can be bought from the Parts Shop Garage for 202,000 COAM after beating the missions Attack the Dam Complex and Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship.
  • Right & Left Back: VP-60LCS – Can be bought from the Parts Shop Garage for 147,000 COAM after beating the missions Attack the Dam Complex and Destroy the Weaponized Mining Ship.

Keeping the Enforcer stunned as much as possible will be vital in bringing this fight to a close. If you’re not feeling the energy rifles for your arms, you could also bring Dual Gatling Guns, providing plenty of damage opportunities.

When it comes to the body, bring something that can work well as a mobile tank. In this situation, we brought the following:

  • Head: HC-3000 WRECKER (located in a hidden Parts Container on the mission Infiltrate Grid 086).
  • Core: VP-40S (purchased at the Parts Shop Garage for 354,000 COAM).
  • Arms: DF-AR-09 TIAN-LAO (can be purchased for 220,000 COAM from the Parts Shop Garage).
  • Legs: DF-LG-08 TIAN-QIANG (can be purchased for 350,000 COAM from the Parts Shop Garage).
  • Booster: ALULA/21E (rewarded after completing the training mission Intermediate Support 1: Assembling an AC).
  • FCS: FC-008 TALBOT (can be purchased for 155,000 COAM after beating the mission Attack the Watchpoint).
  • Generator: VP-20D (can be purchased for 275,000 COAM from the Parts Shop Garage).

1) Be as Aggressive as the Enforcer

The Enforcer is not afraid to get in your face, so you must be willing to do the same. Make sure you learn their patterns, as they can break out of a standard assault burst and bring out their Laser Sword, all while taking a significant chunk of your AP away in just a few swings. If you see the sword coming out to play, jump and hover in the air for a while, and you’ll be solid. Using the build we provided above, you can quickly stun the Enforcer and lay into them with your shoulder-mounted weapons, taking a large chunk of their health away.

2) Never Back Down, Never What?

The worst thing you can do in this battle is give the Enforcer room to breathe. You’ll want to stick onto them like glue, no matter their actions. As we mentioned above, being aggressive is one thing, but staying on them no matter the cost is essential. While the Vvc-760PR are incredibly powerful, they’re only a single-shot weapon, so you’ll need to ensure that you’re either highly accurate or right on the Enforcer at all times. They’re an oppressive force, so you’ll need to ensure that you’re just as, if not more, oppressive than they are.

3) Master Your Hover Ability And Dodge

No matter if you’ve just broken the Enforcers shields or you need an opportunity to heal, knowing when to take to the skies is important. Since the Enforcer has plenty of weapons that can lock on and deal plenty of damage, you’ll also want to know when the proper time to dodge is. Armored Core isn’t like other FromSoftware games, so you won’t be able to rely on i-frames to help you out here. Take the skies when they bring out the sword and lay some damage down. Break the shields and get to work on eliminating them.

Armored Core 6 has plenty of difficult bosses, but none are impossible. The struggles of the early game are no longer present as you’ve become more confident in your abilities. We bet if you squared off against BALTEUS again now, you’d wipe the floor with him.
