How to Be Prom King or Queen in Sims 4: Prom Royalty Guide

The Sims 4 has brought some new elements into the popular life-simulator video game, and the latest expansion pack has something for teenagers. The High School Years expansion pack adds many new features, including Prom Night, which is held every Saturday or every two Saturdays at the Copperdale High auditorium. 

During prom night, you will be able to become either King or Queen, depending on your Sim. Here’s how to be Prom King or Queen in The Sims 4.

How to Become A King or Queen in Sims 4? 

Prepare your Sim for the most important night of their life. They can either go to the Prom solo or with someone. There are four different ways: 

• They can ask someone to the Prom as their friend
• They can ask someone directly
• Leave a note in their locker
• Create a Promposal Sign

Now that you know how to invite someone to go with your Sim to the Prom, you only need to wait for Saturday.

Go dancing, take selfies, and enjoy the night. However, you need to achieve some prerequisites to become a King or Queen. To even compete for Prom Royalty in The Sims 4, the first thing you need is to have a good mood and be very popular on social media. 

Make sure your Sim has a high Charisma level, is very popular on the Social Bunny app, and has the Party Animal trait. 

You will increase your chances further if you complete the prom tasks, which include:

• Dance
• Use Photo Booth
• Dance with Someone

You also need a nice outfit for the night to increase your chances. 

The voting for Prom Royalty is done during the event. There will be a board that reads “Vote for Prom Royalty.” Once all votes are in, the Copperdale High Principal will announce the winners.

Another Prom award is Prom Jester, which is also voted the same way as royalty. 

If you are not selected for Prom King or Queen, there are a few other perks to win. These are Bronze, Silver, or Gold medals. You can increase your chances of winning one of these awards by completing prom tasks.
