The challenges for Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 are here and a fair few of them are actually nice and straight forward. Most of them just require you to kill opponents in a certain way or visit specific areas within a single match. However, there are a couple that is less obvious. You’ll want to try and do every single challenge as you get rewarded with Battle Stars which help you level up your Battle Pass and earn the best loot. Working out how to throw the Flying Disc Toy and catch it before it lands is a two-stage process. The first thing you need to do is actually get ahold of a Flying Disc Toy. You can earn two of them in Season 9 by reaching Tier 35 or Tier 68 of the Battle Pass. Either of these will do the job though so don’t worry about grinding through the challenges too quickly. Once you have this item, you can equip it as an emote so make sure to do so before heading into a match. 

Once you’re in a match you need to work out how to throw the Flying Disc Toy and catch it before it lands. The best way to do this is to look straight up and use the emote. The Flying Disc Toy will eventually come back down to earth and all you need to do to catch it is make contact with it. You have to do this before it hits the ground or it won’t count for the challenge. This is best done in Team Rumble as you’ll be less of a target.
