by Nicholas Barth

The highly anticipated Winterfest event has arrived in Fortnite Battle Royale. Players now have some new holiday content to enjoy, and what would the holidays be without presents! Epic Games has provided a plethora of presents for players to unwrap and enjoy. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to open all of the excellent presents waiting for you covered.

These gifts that we are speaking of can be found in the new Lodge area in the title. This lodge can be accessed through the title’s main menu. Upon entering the lodge, you will see a group of these gifts lying around inside. To open one of these presents, players will need to click on it. This will then bring the item up and ask you if you want to shake it or open it. Shaking it will do nothing but provide some exciting anticipation for you. When you are ready to open the present press the correct key or button.

You will then be treated to a free cosmetic item for your collection.

It is important to note that you can only open one present per day. This limit means that players will have to open a single present every day throughout the Winterfest event to successfully open each gift in the lodge. There are sure to be plenty of excited players who will be looking forward to seeing all of the goodies they will receive.
