How Many Characters Does Smash Ultimate Have?

All in total, players will find 74 characters on the full roster for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which means there are a ton of great characters for players to unlock and play as. Of course, unlocking them all won’t be easy, which is why we’ve created some in-depth guides like how to unlock Luigi.

Of the 74 fighters currently in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, 63 of them are all fighters that have appeared in previous games within the Smash series. However, players have another 11 characters that they can unlock, all of which are new to the series. We’ve outlined them below.
