Like any good soulslike, the ability to fast travel throughout a vast world is critical, especially considering the dangers that lurk around every clam shell. In Another Crab’s Treasure, Shelleportation is just a few tides away from the beginning of your journey. Here’s how to unlock fast travel (Shelleportation) in Another Crab’s Treasure.
How to Unlock Shelleportation in Another Crab’s Treasure
To enable Shelleportation and fast travel in Another Crab’s Treasure, you must unlock it from the Skill Tree after meeting with Duchess Magista and reaching Moon Snail’s Domain. This requires you to advance through the early stages of the story by gaining entrance into Slacktide Castle, meeting Duchess Magista, and being tasked with retrieving a valuable item for her.
Upon exiting Slacktide Castle, make your way southwest of the castle entrance, and just west of the main Moon Snail Shell in The Shallows, where you’ll find the entrance into Moonsnail Caves. Check the map above for the general location.
You’ll soon encounter a visage of the Moon Snail, who will begin teaching you how to use your Umami powers. Make your way through the caves by navigating past the platforming sections and defeating enemies along the way until you reach the miniboss named Polluted Platoon Pathfinder. You’ll enter the Moon Snail’s Domain immediately after defeating the miniboss.
How to Unlock the Skill Tree in Another Crab’s Treasure
After entering Moon Snail’s Domain, speak with the Moon Snail to unlock your skill tree. Shelleportation will be the first and only skill available, costing you five Umami crystals to unlock.
Shelleportation allows you to warp between any previously visited Moon Snail Shell at no cost. Unlocking Shelleportation also reveals the rest of the skill tree, allowing Kril to learn various new skills and traits, including parrying, plunging attacks, and dashing strikes. To unlock skills in the future, you’ll need to visit the Moon Snail’s Domain, speak with her, and choose Learn Skills from the menu.
