Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Story Length Revealed

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is estimated to have a story around 15 hours long, with some sources arguing as low as 12 hours and others as high as 20 hours. Ultimately, the time it takes to finish the story will likely depend on which difficulty settings you choose in the game, with higher difficulties taking longer and lower requiring less time investment.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a ton of side content, including collectibles, crimes in progress, side missions, as well as a huge open-world New York for the dual protagonists Peter Parker and Miles Morales to explore. It can take between 25-30 hours to 100% complete everything Insomniac’s Spider-Man sequel has to offer. However, once again, this could estimate could be increased depending on gamers’ chosen difficulty levels and how much time is spent fighting crimes in progress or just swinging (and gliding) through the game’s open world.

There are no missable trophies, the game can be completed on any difficulty setting, and the collectibles can be easily found without needing a guide. In total,, it is estimated that the platinum trophy takes approximately 25 to 35 hours to earn.

To recap, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 requires 15 hours (give or take) to beat the game, 25 hours for 100% completion, and 25-35 hours to obtain the platinum trophy.
