How Long Does it Take to Beat Ghost of Tsushima?

  • It takes 25 to 60 hours to beat Ghost of Tsushima.

The average completion time to beat Ghost of Tsushima runs anywhere between 25 to 60 hours. As with any game, the completion times for Ghost of Tsushima vary wildly depending on what you do in the game and the difficulty settings you choose. 

For example, if you want to rush through the game on Easy while ignoring all of the side quests, you could potentially beat Ghost of Tsushima in as little as 25 hours.

If you’re a hardcore completionist who wants to do all of the side quests and explore every aspect of the game, you could very well sink 60 hours into Ghost of Tsushima.

Likewise, if you choose to play on Hard and need to replay certain fights, you could potentially be looking at 40-50 hours depending on how long it takes you to get comfortable with the game’s combat. 

A fair middle ground when looking at possible completion times for Ghost of Tsushima is 35 hours.

This is how long it took our EIC to beat Ghost of Tsushima who fully immersed themselves in the game in order to write up a nice, detailed review.

Nate Fox, the Creative Director working on Ghost of Tsushima, also stated in past interviews that the game will take players anywhere from 30 to 50 hours to beat.

This aligns well with other completion times we’ve been seeing reported as reviews for Ghost of Tsushima continue to trickle out. 

With all of this in mind, you’re looking at around 30-40 hours to beat Ghost of Tsushima when playing the game normally.

Rushing through the game, you could get it done in 25 hours.

Taking your time and/or playing on the hardest difficulty setting, you could very well spend up to 50-60 hours in Ghost of Tsushima.
