Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile are currently on their second cross-promotion. You can’t get Warzone Coins anymore, but you can score a new skin and an exclusive watch in Mobile as a bonus, and there’s always a chance of more to come. Here’s how to link up your Call of Duty accounts.

How to Link Call of Duty Warzone to Call of Duty Mobile

The goal behind Activision’s cross-promotions seems to be to encourage Mobile players to check out Warzone, since both games started new seasons relatively recently. Back in March and April, you could get a Warzone Coin for having connected accounts on both games, which would let you purchase one of the three Task Force 141 soldiers in Mobile.

Currently, during the new season of CoD Mobile, Once Upon A Time in Rust, linking your Warzone account gets you two in-game rewards for Mobile: a special CoD Mobile watch and the Outrider – Arctic Soldier skin. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Create an account on the primary Call of Duty website.
  2. Run Call of Duty Mobile and check Account, then Settings, and finally Login Options. Make sure you’re logged in under the account you made at callofduty.com.
  3. Download, install, and open Warzone.
  4. Log in to Warzone using the account that you linked to CoD Mobile.

In theory, that’s all you have to do. The problem that seems to trip a lot of fans up is that the rewards you get for linking your accounts can take as long as 72 hours to appear, which is just long enough to think you probably screwed something up. If you wait it out, you should be set and ready to go.

At the moment, the new watch and skin for CoD Mobile are the only available rewards for linking your accounts, and there’s no reason at all to do this if all you play is Warzone. With both games going at full steam, though, there’s every chance that Activision will keep going for more cross-promotions like this one, and when they do, you’ll be ready to scoop up all that free stuff.
