Call of Duty: Modern Warfare isn't just about shooting people in the head. Well, at least not all the time. It's also apparently about being fashionable when it comes to the accessories that you use to shoot people in the head. You can put gold and platinum camos on your weapons, but we'll show you how to get Gold camo in Modern Warfare specifically so that you can get a leg-up in the glamor game.

How to Get Gold Camo in Modern Warfare

If you're looking to unlock camos in Modern Warfare, you'll likely be on the hunt for unlocking Gold, Platinum and Damascus camos. The basic level camos are easily unlocked when you're playing with a certain weapon and gaining EXP on it, which essentially translates into "getting lots of kills and using it good." There are different challenges that come along with unlocking camos generally in Modern Warfare, including getting different types of kills with your respective weapons, so you'll have plenty to do.

However, we care about Gold camo specifically. This is one of the hidden camo types along with Gold, Platinum, and Damascus. If you're wanting to get your hands on this particular sheen, well, it's going to take work because it only becomes available when you've unlocked every other camo for the gun. Yes, that means you're going to have to have finished every single camo challenge for that particular weapon. You can make this a little bit quicker if you're using Double Weapon EXP tokens, but it's no easy feat. You'll have to start on your journey of how to get Gold camo in Modern Warfare by first knocking out the challenges and getting the following basic camo types:

  • Digital
  • Dragon
  • Reptile
  • Skulls
  • Splinter
  • Spray Paint
  • Stripes
  • Topo
  • Tiger
  • Woodland

That's just the first step on your journey, but keep at it and you'll eventually unlock the Gold camo with our help so long as you complete all the relevant weapon challenges for a particular gun pertaining to your glamor pursuits.
