Specifically, a way to unlock The Flash Outfit today, February 10. Below, we’ll walk you through what you need to do to get The Flash Outfit early on February 10, or what to expect when The Flash Outfit becomes available to all on February 13 in Fortnite.

How To Get The Flash Outfit In Fortnite

On Saturday, February 13, The Flash Outfit will be available for purchase in Fortnite’s Item Shop. If you don’t want to go through any extra hoops other than spending V-Bucks to acquire the Outfit, you can wait until February 13 and then simply visit the Item Shop.

In it, you should find The Flash Outfit available for purchase starting at 7 p.m. (ET). If you visit the Item Shop too early, you may not see it, so keep that in mind and check back at a later time.

If waiting until February 13 isn’t as fun as getting The Flash Outfit early, there is a way to get it as soon as February 10. In a post over on the Fortnite Blog, Epic Games outlines The Flash Cup and how you can participate for a chance to get The Flash Outfit early.

“On February 10, we’re celebrating The Flash in Fortnite with a The Flash Cup, a Duos tournament. Dash into the Battle Bus with your Duos partner and play up to 10 matches in a 3-hour window. The top-performing Duos in each region will unlock The Flash Outfit and the Speed Force Back Bling before they’re in the Item Shop!”

Note that if you’re interested in participating in The Flash Cup, you’ll need to make sure your account has 2FA enabled, and your account is Level 30 or above in order to qualify.

Have additional questions about The Flash Cup? You can read through the official rules page, though we’ve also got a summary for you from that page below:

“For each The Flash Cup Match, all eligible players on a Duos team (as determined by Epic in accordance with these Rules) must rank in the Open League (Division I, II, or III) or higher within Arena in their respective region by the start of such Match to be eligible to queue up and compete during the session window as listed in-game.

The Event will last approximately three (3) hours. Teams may participate in a maximum of ten (10) matches during the Event. Teams will earn points based on the scoring system listed in Sections 2.4.2 and 2.4.3 (as applicable). Matches for the Event will count only if the match begins before the Event window closes.

At the conclusion of the Event, and subject to the terms and conditions herein, the top point earning teams as listed on the in-game leaderboard (“Leaderboard”) from each region will be awarded prizes as set out in Section 2.5.1.”

Scoring is based on match placement and number of eliminations. A Victory Royale will award you with 42 Points, 2nd Place 36 Points, 3rd Place 32 Points, and on it goes. You’ll earn points as long as you rank 50th and above.

Each elimination is worth 1 Point. The rank you’ll need to reach varies depending on the region you’re competing in. Below, we’ve listed the ranking threshold needed to earn yourself The Flash Outfit and Back Bling through participation in The Flash Cup.

  • Asia: 1st – 250th
  • Oceania: 1st – 250th
  • Middle East: 1st – 250th
  • Brazil: 1st – 500th
  • US – NA West: 1st – 500th
  • US – NA East: 1st – 1,750th
  • Europe: 1st – 3,500th

As you can see from that ranking list, there’s more opportunity to earn The Flash Outfit in regions like US – NA East and Europe as prizes are awarded up to Rank 1,750 and 3,500.

Of course, other smaller areas with fewer potential competitors award up to Rank 250 so while it’s less on paper than other regions, there’s still plenty of opportunity to get yourself The Flash Outfit.

By meeting requirements through The Flash Cup, you can get The Flash Outfit and Back Bling. Meanwhile, as mentioned above, The Flash Outfit will be available to all starting February 13 through the Item Shop.

You can purchase The Flash Outfit on its own, or the complete set. Wondering what you get in The Flash Set? Here are the items that are included:

  • The Flash Outfit
  • The Speed Force Back Bling
  • The Speed Force Slashers Pickaxe
  • The Quick Bite Emote

The bundle also includes a Flash-themed loading screen so if you’re a huge fan of The Flash, you may find it more rewarding to purchase The Flash Bundle over The Flash Outfit by itself. It’s entirely up to you, though.

Hopefully this feature has helped you understand the two ways in which you can get The Flash Outfit in Fortnite, either by competing in The Flash Cup or by purchasing The Flash Out (or The Flash Set) via Fortnite’s Item Shop starting February 13.
