How to Get the Chandelier Shotgun in Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood

The Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood Chandelier shotgun is a pretty impressive legendary weapon that will shred enemies. Here's how to get it.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There are a bunch of new legendary weapons that players can add to their loadout in Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood. One of the new legendary shotguns is called the Candelier, and it essentially shoots multiple energy discs at an enemy that explodes on impact or ricochet one time off a surface and then explodes. As you can probably tell, the Borderlands 3 Chandelier shotgun is a pretty impressive weapon, so here’s how to farm for it and add it to your loadout.

How to Farm the Borderlands 3 Candelier Shotgun

In Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood the Chandelier location can be found by defeating the Bellik Primis boss in the Obsidian Forest region of Gehenna. If you’re familiar with the area, you might remember that the boss is located at the very end of the area, so that’s where you’ll need to head to the farm for the Chandelier. If you’re familiar with the weapon jump boost, you can use that trick to get on top of a ledge and cut through the area head directly into the boss fight without having to run all the way around. We will detail the shortcut location on the map below if you know what we are talking about, if not, it’ll probably be easier to run through the Obsidian Forest area until you reach the Bellik Primis boss fight.

To farm the Chandelier in Borderlands 3, you’ll need to continually fight the Belik Primis boss until it eventually drops the weapon upon defeat. There is a save location right before the fight close to the ammo dump machine (see map), so if you run over to that before you back out, you’ll spawn back in the area after you quit the game. Once you’ve defeated the boss, check to see if it dropped the Chandelier shotgun, if it did, then you’re good to go! If not, you’ll need to quit the game, load back in, and fight the Bellik Primis again. Simply rinse and repeat this method until you get the shotgun. Further, if you have some free time, you can farm for a couple of shotguns and then sell off the extras for some bonus cash.

The Chandelier stats are going to be different for every player based on their level, but in general, it’s a pretty powerful shotgun that will make quick work of most enemies. As we mentioned, the shotgun shoots out explosive discs and has an impressive splash damage radius of 210, meaning that the explosion will deal damage to nearby enemies even if the shots hit an enemy head-on.

If you’ve been away from the game for a while, the Bounty of Blood DLC is the third of four planned expansions for Borderlands 3 and will take players to a new planet named Gehenna. Further, the story will be focused on brand new characters who are not a part of the main game and will allow newer players to create a new Vault Hunter that will automatically level up enough to play the DLC. You can catch the official Bounty of Blood trailer in the video below.

For those just starting out in Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood, we’ve included some of our recent DLC guides in the list below that should help you out.
