How To Get a 335 Artifact in Destiny

by Prima Games Staff

While getting Artifacts is pretty commonplace in the world of Destiny, higher-level ones are a bit tougher to come by. If you’re looking for a 335 Artifact to add to your collection, below are the steps you’ll need to follow. It’s not too hard a process, and it’s definitely rewarding.

The Court of Oryx

First, as you’re aware, items drop quite often in the Court of Oryx, and now that the Light level has increased with the most recent update to the game, you stand a better chance at getting your hands on a more rare Artifact.

If you’re the one that drops in the Rune when you begin the fight, chances are you’ll end up with the Artifact after taking out the main boss. Just make sure you’re on a Tier 3 level in order to get a higher up one.

However, keep one thing in mind – the drop you’ll receive is related to your light level. So if you’re at 320 Light, you’re not always guaranteed a 335 Artifact. You will likely get something around the 325 range, however.

That doesn’t mean you’ve failed, though. You’ll just need to push up your Light a little bit more so you get closer to that 335 Artifact. Make sure you enter the fight wearing the best armor you have available, and using your highest-level weapons available. You’ll eventually push up your Light to around 330, which will get you closer to the 335 Artifact. In between, though, you’ll be around 324-327, which will give you a drop around that range. Just keep working at it and you’ll get there.

If Not the Court of Oryx, Try the Blighted Worlds

Another way to go about getting your hands on an Artifact is to go through this quest from Destiny: The Taken King. Keep in mind, though, that it’s a bit tougher, requiring some grinding in order to even get close to that level. The Court of Oryx is much easier, but if you prefer a challenge, here’s the way to go.

You’ll have to deal with many waves of enemies, as well as a few bosses in the King’s Fall Raid, in order to come close to accomplishing progress here. Just be prepared if some of the items that are dropped are around the 310 level. It’ll take a lot of work to bump that up.

Try the Court of Oryx first, but if that fails, the Blighted Worlds is another option – although a much tougher mountain to climb.
