This particular Easter Egg can be found in the Film Buff side mission located on the planet of Pandora. The character of Buff who players will encounter will sport a similar look to the man behind The Room movie and discuss how people do not understand his cinematic intellect. Borderlands 3 players will be tasked by Buff to search trash cans for his ECHO Drive. You will then need to attach the ECHO Drive to a projector, kill a character known as Rohner, and replace a projector bulb. Once you have done this, you will talk to the Tommy Wiseau inspired character of Buff and complete the Film Buff side mission.
