How to Find Carbalite Ore

Much like Coral Crystal, Carbalite Ore is one of the many items that players can find by mining outcroppings they find while exploring in Monster Hunter: World. This item itself is found while participating in High Rank quests and expeditions, and you’ll find it within the very same outcroppings that you’ve been mining and breaking down since the start of the game. In fact, after you learn how to unlock High Rank quests, you can complete a series of quests which will unlock High Rank content and allow you to start diving into the more difficult missions contained within Monster Hunter: World.

Of course, finding Carbalite Ore isn’t a guarantee, but you can head to places like the Ancient Forest and other leveled areas to start breaking down mining nodes, which should reward you with at least a little Carbalite Ore to get started with. Keep in mind, though, that Carbalite Ore is a High Rank Material, which means you cannot acquire it when taking on regular quests and expeditions. So, if you want this item, make sure to take on the right types of quests, which should be marked with orange indicators to show they are High Rank quests.

Now that you know more about how to get your hands on Carbalite Ore, it’s time to learn more about what Affinity is and how it works. You’ll also want to head over to our Monster Hunter: World guide for more in-depth content, like a detailed list of all crafting items and recipes in the game.
