Hunting is only available between 5:00am and 7:00pm at Mount Chiliad State Wilderness. Trevor is the only playable character that can participate in the Hunting challenge, and he must complete Target Practice and Fair Game before doing so. The two prerequisite missions fall under the Strangers & Freaks category, and can be found near Trevor’s original safe house in Sandy Shores.

In order to achieve gold completion in the Hunting challenge, players must accumulate a total of 90 points. Different point values are assigned depending on the animal you kill, the location of the shot and the weapon you use. In order to receive the 10-point maximum per kill, take down an adult male elk with a heart shot from your Sniper Rifle.
