Gray Zone Warfare: How to Complete the True Grit Task

Gritty.

The True Grit quest is one of the many missions in Gray Zone Warfare that requires you to find a specific item. In this case, you’ll have to find an antique revolver and bring it back to your base. While finding the location is relatively easy, recovering the weapon and bringing it back can be tricky. Here’s how to complete the True Grit mission in Gray Zone Warfare.

This particular task is handed to you by Handshake. You need to complete the New Neighbours task before participating in this one. You’ll need to find the Antique Revolver, which is located in Motel Room 102 in Hunter’s Paradise. You’ll have to drop at the Foxtrot 1 LZ and head west.

While you’ll need to find the Motel first, you’ll have to obtain the Hunter’s Paradise Motel Room 102 key, also labeled the HP 102 key. The mission begins once you have reached the Motel area, where you find several enemies. Start eliminating them and looting their bodies. The key in question drops randomly, so be mindful of players from other factions.

Once you find the key from the body of an eliminated enemy, go inside the motel. Continue to the second room from the right, and use the key to unlock the door. Inside, you’ll find a nightstand beside a bed with a brown case on it. This case contains the Antique Revolver, and the quest gets updated as you pick it up.

Once you’ve found the revolver, you must bring it back safely to your base. If you die, you’ll lose the revolver, and the mission must be restarted. Once you’re safely back to the base, you can mark the quest as complete from the vendors tab.

Here’s all the rewards that you’ll obtain upon the mission’s completion:

  • 1x Recon Tactical Rig
  • $7,800
  • 1,000 Experience
  • 150 Reputation with Handshake
