The First Hit quest in Gray Zone Warfare stays true to its name, as you have to take down a designated target. The job is easier said than done, as you’ll have to find the location first before taking down the leader. 

Gray Zone Warfare: How to Find the Market Place in First Hit Task

The First Hit task is received from Handshake, and your mission is to locate a criminal leader before eliminating him. The task requires you to travel to the marketplace, where the criminal leader is hiding. The location will vary depending on your faction, although the format of the quest remains the same.

How to Complete First Hit Task in Gray Zone Warfare

Once you have reached the relevant map squares, you’ll observe different enemies in the region. The leader won’t be present among them at first. To draw him out, start eliminating the common enemies. This will put the NPC enemies in the surrounding regions on alert, who will begin to flock in your coordinates. 

One of these enemies will feature the leader of the criminal organization you have been tasked to eliminate. It can take anywhere between 5-12 common enemies to be taken down for the leader to emerge. Once he’s present in your location, you’ll need to strategically take him down to complete the First Hit task in Gray Zone Warfare. 

Do note that several enemies will rush to your location from the surrounding enemies. This mission has plenty of action, so make sure you have plenty of ammunition to spare. Running out of bullets with all those enemies won’t have pleasant consequences. You must extract successfully to complete the mission. If you die in the process, you must restart the mission.

Once you’re back at your base, open the vendor’s tab to mark the mission as complete. Here are all the rewards that you’ll get after completing this particular quest:
