Gnawing Hunger Destiny 2 Guide: How to Get This Auto Rifle

by Ginny Woo

Those of us that are still on our weapon collecting grind for Destiny 2 are likely scouring our collections to see what we haven’t quite picked up yet. If you needed a hand picking up The Long Goodbye, we’ve got a convenient guide for that. That famous gun aside, there’s still plenty of firepower out there in the wild just waiting for you to find it. Check out our Gnawing Hunger Destiny 2 guide if you’re wanting the lowdown on how to get this rifle.

Gnawing Hunger Destiny 2 Guide – How to Get This Rifle

The Gnawing Hunger is an Auto Rifle, and probably one of the cooler looking Legendary rifles out there. This legendary packs 700 Power, and we’ve got a list of some of the perks that you can benefit from if you have it in your arsenal.

  • Rampage — this increases the weapon’s damage based on the kills you’re getting
  • Overflow — if you get your mitts on Special or Heavy ammo, its ammo capacity will be increased when you reload so you can enjoy your massacre uninterrupted

If you’re wanting to get your hands on Gnawing Hunger, you’re going to have to put in the hard yards and participate in The Reckoning. You can get the layman’s version of this Auto Rifle easily enough through completing Prime Bounties, but if you aren’t going to be content with that (and we wouldn’t expect any true connoisseurs to be), then you’re going to have to keep grinding away at the Likeness of Oryx until this drops for you. It could be quite a while, but it should be a piece of cake considering that the activity is at this point almost considered legacy content.

Our tip would be to make sure that you’re actually gunning through The Reckoning on either Tier 2 or Tier 3. In our experience, anything lower means that you’re not operating at optimum drop chance for this Legendary Auto Rifle. Now that you have our Gnawing Hunger Destiny 2 guide to hand, just make sure that you’ve brushed up on what to do and this will be a piece of cake; it’s just a matter of repetition.
