Cats love playing card games

The Special Program for Genshin Impact has dropped with a fresh trailer for the newest version. Card games and Fontaine are the main themes in 3.7, another colder update when it comes to permanent content, but with a huge emphasis on its events and secondary systems.

With a new glimpse at the next region, we also get tons of updates for the Genius Invokation TCG mode and a new 4-star character in Kirara. We also get some smaller system updates, secondary events, new banners and, of course, more exclusive Primogem codes for the “Duel! The Summoner’s Summit!” update.

Upcoming Banners and New Characters in Genshin Impact 3.7

Inazuma makes a comeback with Yoimiya and Yae Miko being the featured characters during the first half of 3.7. Both the girls and her signature weapons are here, as well as Kirara, who is featured as a 4-star during this first banner.

Kirara is a 4-star Dendro Sword character with the purrfect kit for any allies in need of defensive support. She will be added to the regular 4-star pool after the update is over just like every other 4-star before her.

For the second part, Kaedehara Kazuha and Alhaitham are back. It is somewhat strange to see our favorite antisocial scholar back before the Wanderer, but I cannot complain about that. Kazuha is also back, so this is your chance before he vanishes for another whole year again. This is not the final 3.x patch yet, though. Otherwise, we would have been granted more Fontaine info.

All New Events and Features in Genshin Impact 3.7

Once again, the update shares its name with the main event in it. Duel! The Summoner’s Summit! is basically the TCG World Tournament, drawing people from all regions to compete in it. This includes Charlotte, the reporter from Fontaine who will be featured in the version. She is making her debut during this event, and we may expect her to be playable sometime during the 4.x patches.

Aside from TCG-based games, we also get more events such as Evermotion Mechanical Painting in the update’s largest-sized event. The main reward is the Ibis Piercer Bow, exclusive to this event.

Minor events include the Divine Ingenuity: Collector’s Chapter, where players can participate in both premade stages and create/share their own challenges. This includes a rougelike-mode where your team levels and collects buffs as you progress through, so there is something for everyone here!

The Feast of Departed Warriors is another iteration of the “stronger regular bosses” event, where beefed-up versions of some of the most obnoxious bosses will be around for bringing hell for the Traveler. You can get the Primogem rewards by completing the easier stages though, so do not worry.

Lastly, you can try various trial characters in the Fayz Trials:  Hypothesis event. This time you are locked to pre-established teams, and all potions are focused on buffing those directly.

New Content, Updates and More

Accompanying the update’s theme, 3.7 will include a huge update to the TCG in general. Various new cards will be added, with some examples including the four playable Archons, Xiao and more. The Arena of Champions is a new PvP mode where you must win 5 battles consecutively like a mini-tournament, while the Forger Realm’s Temple is a PvE mode for gaining more coins and cards.

Kaveh will also get his Hangout Event after Layla, making that every Akademiya character has their spotlight moment in some way or another. Will we get more 4-star Hangouts in 3.8, maybe?

Genshin Impact 3.7 Primogem Codes

No stream would be complete without their Primogem codes, so here they are. Do not forget to use them before May 14 as they will expire after a single day!
