Gears 5 Rockstar Skins Guide: How to Get Rockstar Energy Drink Skins

Gears 5 has been running a cross-promotion with Rockstar since the lead-up to the game’s release, and that certainly hasn’t stopped now that the title has been launched. If you’re not near a Walmart though, then you might be out of luck so we would recommend keeping that in mind before reading on. Essentially, the gist of things is that if you buy certain Rockstar Energy drinks that are marked with Gears 5, those cans will have codes that will help you unlock weapon skins and banners for in-game use. Nifty, huh?

Here’s a list of the gun skins and banners that you can get from the Gears 5 Rockstar skins initiative. All of the skins have high-contrast color schemes to really make your gear stand out amongst the crowd, and the banners have the signature crimson Gears aesthetic teamed with the Rockstar logo:

  • Rockstar JD Lancer
  • Rockstar Kait Lancer
  • Rockstar Marcus Lancer
  • Rockstar Scorpion Lancer
  • Rockstar JD Banner
  • Rockstar Marcus Banner
  • Rockstar Scorpion Banner
  • Rockstar Swarm Banner
  • Rockstar Swarm Lancer (Walmart Only)

If you’ve found yourself particularly entranced by the idea of picking up any of those Gears 5 Rockstar skins, then you know what you have to do: get yourself out to a local store or Walmart where they’re stocking these and drink up. Of course, consume those drinks responsibly for the optimum gaming experience: we want you here for a long time, not just a good time!
