Forza Horizon 5 | Is There Crossplay Support

Racing past your friends on all platforms.

With the release of Forza Horizon 5 comes questions in regards to vehicles, and game features such as whether or not the game supports crossplay. If you want to play with friends, but they own the game on a different platform, it’s nice to know whether or not that’s an option.

So, to simplify things, we’ve put together a quick guide on whether Forza Horizon 5 supports crossplay! 

Forza Horizon 5 | Is There Crossplay Support

The quick answer to the question of whether Forza Horizon 5 supports crossplay is yes, it does. Forza Horizon 5 offers crossplay between Xbox consoles such as Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S and PC platforms such as the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Essentially, if your friend owns a copy of the game on PC but you have it on Xbox, the two of you can still play together. 

Speaking of Steam, while there’s crossplay support through Steam there’s unfortunately no cross-save support. If you’re looking for cross-save support in Forza Horizon 5, you’ll need to either play the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PC through the Microsoft Store, or Cloud Gaming via Game Pass.

So to recap, yes Forza Horizon 5 has crossplay support. It’s supported on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC including the Microsoft Store and Steam. Forza Horizon 5 also supports cross-saves with the exception of Steam, where cross-save support is not available.
