Fortnite Week 13 Challenges | How to Destroy Crystal Trees

by Morgan Shaver

In the list of Fortnite Season 5 Week 13 Challenges, one of the Epic Quests asks players to destroy five Crystal Trees.

If you aren’t sure what Crystal Trees are, where they’re located, or how to destroy them, we’ve got you covered. Below, we’ve got a quick guide for you explaining how to Destroy Crystal trees in Fortnite!

Fortnite Week 13 Challenges | How to Destroy Crystal Trees

To complete the Week 13 Challenge that requires you to destroy five Crystal Trees in Fortnite, you’ll first need to know where these Crystal Trees can be found. In the map image above, we’ve marked the location where you’ll find Crystal Trees to destroy.

Unlike the large pink crystal rocks found in this sandy location, Crystal Trees look more like small trees. They have thin branches and are typically smaller in scale than most of the crystal rocks you’ll find.

To destroy Crystal Trees, all you need to do is whip out your pickaxe and start smashing away. In total, you’ll need to destroy five Crystal Trees. The best way to do this in our opinion is to land near the gas station at the western edge of the map.

From there, you can pick up some weapons and supplies and start heading inward towards the center of the map where the Zero Point is.

Note that if you’re eliminated before you destroy five Crystal Trees, don’t worry as you can jump back into another match and your progress will carry over.

Essentially, if you destroy two Crystal Trees one match and three Crystal Trees the next, you’ll be able to cross this Week 13 Challenge off your list in Fortnite.

As a reward for completing this Week 13 Challenge, you’ll earn 20,000 XP and are free to tackle other Challenges in Fortnite like dealing pistol damage or bathing in the Purple Pool at Steamy Stacks.
