Get ready to put your speedrunning and parkour skills to the test in the latest set of Fortnite challenges for Week 6 of Season 5. Aptly referred to as the Timed Trials challenge, this challenge requires players to complete five Timed Trials throughout the map. To help you get started, we’ll explain how to complete the Timed Trials in Fortnite and where to find each Time Trial location below.
How to Complete Timed Trials
Each Timed Trial is essentially a parkour challenge that involves moving quickly through a series of blue countdown timers. Interact with the blue stopwatch at one of the Timed Trial locations to activate the trial. Once the Timed Trial starts, you must run through each of the subsequent blue timers that appear around the area as quickly as possible.
Some of the timers are placed a bit out of reach, so you will have to build ramps and platforms to reach them. Activating a trial lets you to see where each of the stopwatches will appear, allowing you to plan your ramp building accordingly. When you attempt a new Timed Trial, go around and note where each of the blue timers are located, placing platforms as needed. Let the trial expire, then start again with your ramps already in place to avoid having to build during your trial run.
Fortnite Timed Trial Locations
There are at least seven Timed Trial locations throughout the map in Fortnite, but you only need to complete five of these trials to satisfy the challenge for Week 6.
Here’s where to go to find the blue stopwatches to complete each Timed Trial in Fortnite:
- In the field southeast of Junk Junction in front of the stone Moai head
- Above the log cabin in Lonely Lodge
- At the base of the waterfall southwest of Paradise Palms
- At the southeast section of Retail Row
- Outside the southernmost house in Snobby Shores, by the flaming hoop
- Along the river to the east of Shifty Shafts
- By the river west of Tomato Town
Note that the Timed Trials challenge is one of the premium challenges for Week 6, which means you must own the Season 5 Battle Pass in order to complete this challenge.
