In May 2020, Epic announced that it would be adding a new Party Royale mode to Fortnite, which would essentially serve as a giant place for players to hang out within the game. Further, Party Royale was designed to host tons of awesome in-game events like concerts, for example. It looks like Epic is continuing to expand this mode and has announced an official Fortnite Christopher Nolan movie night event. In this guide, we will take a look at the upcoming event schedule, as well as the movies being shown in the game.

Fortnite Christopher Nolan Movie Night: Time, Showings, How to Watch

The Fortnite Christopher Nolan movie night event will be taking place on Friday, June 26 in the Party Royale game mode. Further, the event will be showing three different movies for free, depending on your region. Those that are in the United States, will be able to hop into a match of Party Royale to catch a full showing of Inception, starting at 8 AM ET, with two additional showings at 8 PM and 11:55 PM ET. If you’re in the United Kingdom or Canada, you’ll be able to catch a viewing of The Prestige starting at 12 PM ET. Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins will also be available to some players, depending on your region. If you’d like to see which movies are being shown in your area, head over the official Party Royal events page.

If you’ve been keeping up with Fortnite news, then you’ll probably remember that this isn’t the first time that Epic has partnered with Christopher Nolan. In May, the world premiere trailer for Nolan’s upcoming film Tenet was shown live in the Party Royale game mode. So it’s not really a surprise to see Epic partnering with him again. You don’t need to do anything to watch the movie except grab your popcorn and snacks, find a good seat, and enjoy the show!

While you’re waiting for the Christopher Nolan movie night event, there is plenty of stuff to do in the Battle Royale game mode, as Chapter 2: Season 3 just launched a few days ago. The new season has brought a handful of changes to the game, including a new map that is almost completely underwater. Additionally, to go along with the underwater theme, Epic has partnered with DC to bring a season exclusive Aquaman skin into the game that players can earn by completing a variety of challenges. Oh, and players can now ride sharks, so that’s something too.

As usual, those who own the season’s Battle Pass will be able to complete a variety of weekly challenges to earn XP and unlock exclusive rewards. It seems that the new weekly challenges will continue to be released on Thursdays, so if you need any help, be sure to check back to our homepage on Thursday mornings for some guides.
