As part of a new batch of quests in Fortnite, players will need to “use a CB radio” five different times. In the game, there are five different CB radio locations that you can interact with.
Three of these CB radios are in relatively close proximity to one another, while the other two are a little farther apart. To help make things as easy as possible, we’ve put together a quick guide showing you where all 5 CB radios are located, and how to “use a CB radio” in Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | How to Use CB Radio
One of the quests that can help give you a better idea as to what to expect from Season 7 of Fortnite is one where you use five different CB radios. By completing this quest, you’ll also earn 24,000 XP once you’ve used the fifth and final CB radio.
The main question when it comes to the CB radio quest in Fortnite is where to find each CB radio. Three are located fairly close to one another, meaning it’s possible to grab three or more CB radios in a single match.
The other two CB radios unfortunately are a little farther out towards the southern half of the Fortnite map. In the map image above, we’ve marked the location of each CB radio in Fortnite.
Below, we’ve also included images of each CB radio with the numbers on the map corresponding to the number we’ve given each CB radio in the batch of images below.
CB Radio Location #1
The first CB radio is located to the north of Stealthy Stronghold in Fortnite.
As you head north, look for a wooden building and underneath that building, you should see a table with the CB radio on it.
CB Radio Location #2
The second CB radio in Fortnite is located to the north of FN Radio (east of Craggy Cliffs), which can be reached on foot from the CB radio location near Stealthy Stronghold.
CB Radio Location #3
The third CB radio can be found northeast of Steamy Stacks on a hill near the coast.
Again, you should be able to reach this CB radio near Steamy Stacks on foot from the CB radio located near FN Radio.
CB Radio Location #4
The fourth CB radio is located all the way west from Slurpy Swamp on a little island with shipping containers and tents on it.
The CB radio can be found right up against one of these shipping containers.
CB Radio Location #5
Finally, the fifth CB radio can be found in a little log cabin building north of Catty Corner.
The CB radio is located up against the rear of the log cabin.
Again, once you’ve interacted with the fifth and final CB radio, you’ll earn 24,000 XP in Fortnite and can proceed to other quests like repairing five damaged telescopes.
