Easter celebrations are currently taking place in Fortnite. As part of these celebrations, Fortnite players will encounter a new Quest that tasks them with foraging for Bouncy Eggs.
If you’re uncertain what Bouncy Eggs are, how they can be used, or how and where to forage for them, we’ve got you covered. Below, we’ll walk you through the process of foraging for Bouncy Eggs in Fortnite!
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 | Forage Bouncy Eggs
In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, there’s a Quest that asks you to forage for Bouncy Eggs.
In celebration of the Easter holidays, with Easter taking place on Sunday, April 4, Epic Games has added these special Bouncy Eggs into the game as a little treat for Fortnite players.
By consuming a Bouncy Egg, you’ll increase your shields and gravity will be temporarily reduced, similar to when you eat a Hop Flopper caught while fishing.
The temporary low gravity from the Bouncy Eggs can be extremely useful, especially in tricky combat situations with enemy players.
What Do Bouncy Eggs Look Like?
In the image above, you’ll be able to see what Bouncy Eggs look like. As you might expect, they look like large Easter eggs that have been left on the ground.
Where To Find Bouncy Eggs In Fortnite
As for where to find Bouncy Eggs, unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be one or more specific locations where you can pick these items up. Instead, they’re found all throughout the map, typically on the ground as floor loot.
A number of guides will point you to the area in and around Stealthy Stronghold, and while it’s certainly true you can pick up Bouncy Eggs here, they’re found in other places of the map as well.
For example, we found several Bouncy Eggs around Weeping Woods, in the mountain area between Weeping Woods and Lazy Lake, and near Colossal Crops.
In the map image above, we’ve circled some of the spots where we’ve been able to forage for Bouncy Eggs. Keep an eye out for them underneath trees in grassy areas.
The more Bouncy Eggs you collect, the more progress you’ll make to the “forage for Bouncy Eggs” Quest which has four stages.
The first lets you earn 35,000 XP and the Tactical Quaxes Harvesting Tool after collecting 10 Bouncy Eggs. The other three stages will award you with an additional 24,500 XP every time you collect 10 Bouncy Eggs.
Another Easter-themed item to keep an eye out for in Fortnite while foraging for Bouncy Eggs in Fortnite is the newly added Egg Launcher which shoots out egg grenades at your foes.
It’s a bit of a strange weapon, but fun to experiment with nevertheless.
